I want to personally thank you for the message you shared with us at the Folsom Softball Club coach training on Wednesday night. I felt privileged to be in the audience and have the opportunity to hear your stories about “the ride home” and the “hitting advise you received that changed your game”. Both stories were really powerful and I plan to share them with my 12-year old daughter. I also enjoyed hearing the story of your sports career and how it led into your current business. You clearly have a love for the game and training female athletes to play the game well. I wish my daughter could have heard you speak on Wednesday night. Again, thank you again for coming to share with us!

I don’t know how to thank you for your stong commitment, positive attitude, and influential etermination towards helping me find the school of my dreams. I remember first coming to the All-American Softball School for pitching and batting lessons at the age of 12 years old. Every week I would walk by the wall of letters from the college players thanking you for your time, and I hoped someday I would be playing college ball too. When you met me I was quite shy and unsure of myself, lacking the confidence needed to be an impact player. But through my time in your College Prep Program, you’ve coached me through the mental game of softball and overall improved my skills as an athlete.As a result of your instruction and assignments, you completely reconstructed my swing. I became a contact hitter, and sometimes even a power hitter. It was exciting to set goals for a batting average of ERA and find myself mesuring up to it. Through hitting you taught me what to expect from a pitcher, and through pitching you taught me what to expect from a hitter. My transformation from sophomore to junior year was extremely rewarding. Especially going undefeated in league in 2008 and becoming Oitcher of the Year in 2009. I owe a lot of that to you and your coaching.Every year you would ask me to create a list of 25 schools I might want to attend or visit. If you were to look at my lists from each year, Occidental College would not be found. I was skeptical about the school when you first mentioned it to me. Only, 1,900 students? Is it academic enough? It’s only Division 3? You told me to email the coach and research the school as well as many other schools, but I had completely forgotten about Occidental. A month later you checked back with me to see what I had thought because the coach had been asking why I hadn’t emailed her yet. That’s when I decided to email Coach Jodie. We set up a visit and I immediately fell in love with the school. It was small but not too small, amazing weather, a growing softball program, a welcoming and friendly team and most importantly, one of the top liberal arts schools in the nation. It was absolutely perfect for me. And without your determination I might never have found it.I’m attending Occidental College now and I love every minute of it. There is no where else I’d rather be than in Southern California playing softball and getting a great education at the same time. I look forward to beginning my freshmen season this year and all future seasons to come. Thank you Kelly for always believing in me and helping me achieve my dreams.

I was recruited by colleges through my skills video, which was a great way for colleges to see my mechanics before watching me in a game. It was easy and convenient for them to access online from their office, versus mailing out individual videos that they many never have time to watch.

Hi Coach Jackson, Just to let you know– you really made my entire month (probably entire year!!!) with your great news about Mazzie really stepping into a leadership role; growing in confidence and blossoming into an independent and strong young woman and athlete!!! I know that this transformation — this metamorphosis is in large part due to your coaching, mentoring, guiding, encouraging, supporting, and believing in Mazzie!!! You have been such a tremendous gift in Mazzie’s life (in our entire family’s life!!!). You were a critical and pivotal turning point for her… Under your care, she has continued to thrive and reach new heights both as a softball player and a person in general. All I can say is a humble thank you from the bottom of my heart, Coach Jackson!!! You are simply AMAZING!!! 🙂
